This piece has an unusual visual effect. It is composed of irregular (3-D) tessellations that are moved oppositionally in relation to one another. Additionally, the secondary carved lines, while optically connecting with lines in neighboring sections, move in an opposite direction to one another as the sections go up diagonally.
