Glazed with a combination that uses the green for emphasis, it has a forest feel, with suggestions of moss, bark, soil, and vegetation. But it also has ridges, outcroppings that give the piece its form. From above, the piece suggests multiple paths down, into the forest, or paths up and into the mysterious interior.
