Moving Rhythm

With its chunky solidity, this piece has drama. Its coloring and movement remind me of the Pacific Ocean in the Northwest, where I grew up. Mostly, though, my pieces are abstract. While they may suggest something to me, they might remind you of something quite different. The glazes really did their work on this one, looking at times like ocean froth, or perhaps lichen on a tree.
