This piece started with a very simple repeating diamond shape pattern. Actually, it was kind of boring. But with a bit of work, I connected all of the edges of the diamonds, creating a web-like line structure that holds the surface planes suspended. It makes it a much more successful design. It’s interesting from above, too.
