This is the same pattern, and roughly the same shape, as “Terraced in Green”. When glazed differently than the other piece, the result is remarkably luminous. This is one of just a few pieces I’ve made with a different clay body than what I usually use. While it’s also a red clay, with this particular glaze combination it looks completely different than on my usual clay. (See “Mossy Periderm”; Same glazes, different clay.) Other glaze combos look pretty much the same on the two clays.
