The question here is, which is the entrance and which is the exit? I read an article a number of years ago in the NY Times about an American artist whose name I don’t recall. One of the photos that accompanied the article was an image of a somewhat angular spiral that had a bit of a swing to its movement. I immediately could see it as 3 dimensional form, starting from the top and going down. I made two of these pieces. This one is the most like the painting in the newspaper, though the other one, “Entrance/Exit”, has a similar view from the top.
